Kids and teens now have their very own art show dedicated to them and their work! The 1st annual Youth Art Show will be on March 24th, 25th and 26th, 2023 at Holt Park & Center for the Arts, with a fun 3-day program of activities and entertainment.
The show is being produced in collaboration with Holt Park and local Girl Scout Troop 5335. All young artists between the ages of 6 and 15 living or attending school in Maryland are eligible to submit their artwork. Cash prizes and certificates will be given to the top winners. Art teachers and Scout leaders are welcome to connect with us at contactus@overleaartsfest.org to get involved.
Submissions are open through Monday, March 6th, so hurry! There is NO FEE to submit. Get all the details on our website.

Northeast Baltimore’s arts festival for new and emerging talent!
Overlea ArtsFest is a free, family-friendly annual event celebrating local visual and performing art. Artists and filmmakers of all genres and levels of experience are invited to submit their work to our juried show, which is held on the second weekend of August every year at the beautiful Holt Park & Center for the Arts. A diverse group of performance artists, singers, musicians and spoken word poets are chosen to perform at each event, and free art activities are offered for kids of all ages.
Enjoy the juried show with 50+ local artists and vote for your favorites in our People’s Choice awards… walk the nature trails on the Holt Park grounds… and have a picnic lunch on the grass with your family. You can even bring your dog! ArtsFest has something for everyone.
Overlea ArtsFest has grown and evolved every year since its beginning in 2016, and has been recognized with a special award by Baltimore County. Our commitment to local artists and the community at large is the heart of our mission. ArtsFest is made possible with the help of our generous sponsors – Rosedale Federal Savings & Loan, Carrabba’s Overlea and Weis Markets Nottingham – and the dedicated volunteers and donors that lend their support. Overlea ArtsFest, Inc. is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.
