Overlea is a fun place to be in Winter, too! Every year in early December, the Overlea Community Association holds our annual Christmas Tree Lighting event at the Overlea-Fullerton Community Center on Belair Road. Residents and friends from all surrounding communities are welcome to attend.

This festive, family-centered event features live local entertainment, hundreds of toys & gifts for neighborhood children kindly donated by Raymond Geddes & Co., free hot chocolate and cannolis from generous sponsors Carrabba’s Overlea and the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company, a warming fire pit donated by area Boy Scouts, kids’ holiday activities supplied by Holt Park & Center for the Arts, and a celebratory visit from Santa himself as he arrives on a fire truck with sirens blaring!
