Reduce landfill waste by bringing your food scraps to the Overlea compost collection site in the parking lot of the Natural History Society of Maryland (6908 Belair Road). We accept all fruit and veggie scraps, egg shells, nuts shells, teabags and coffee grinds and filters (no bones, yard waste, dairy, or meat). We’re currently collecting every other Saturday from 9:30-10:30am (next date is Feb. 11.) You can also bring your compost to the Overlea Farmers Market, Sat., June 10! This is a free resource.
