Call for Artists

Overlea ArtsFest – Call for Artists and Performers!

The Overlea Community Association (OCA) presents the 3rd Annual Overlea ArtsFest!  The event takes place on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Natural History Society, located at 6908 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.  ArtsFest will benefit The Natural History Society program “Nature Connections,” a hands-on nature exploration for kids and families.

The event will feature a Juried Show with 2-D and 3-D art of all mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, illustration, fiber art, ceramic art and photography.  There will also be performances all day by musicians, dancers and performance artists.

The Overlea ArtsFest will be extensively promoted through TV commercials, social media, community newsletters, and widespread distribution of physical and electronic flyers.

The OCA is seeking local Baltimore visual artists to submit their work for the show, and performers to entertain the attendees.  Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the Best in Show winner for each category.
