Overlea ArtsFest – Call for Artists and Vendors

Submit your info and images or links online here before April 10, 2017.

The Overlea Community Association (OCA) presents the 2nd Annual Overlea ArtsFest! The event takes place on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Natural History Society, located at 6908 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206. The ArtsFest will benefit “Nature Connections,” a hands-on nature exploration program for kids and families.

The event will feature a Juried Show with 2-D and 3-D art of all mediums, including sculpture, fiber art, ceramic art, fashion design, photography and short films. There will also be an Art Market with art vendors, and performances all day by musicians, poets, spoken word artists, filmmakers, dancers and performance artists.

The Overlea ArtsFest will be extensively promoted through TV commercials, print ads, social media, community newsletters, and widespread distribution of physical and electronic flyers.

The OCA is seeking local Baltimore artists to submit their work for the juried show, as well as art vendors to show and sell their work to the public, and performers to entertain the attendees. Visual artists can submit for the Juried Show, for the Art Market or for both. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the Best in Show winner for each Juried Show category.
